    Wanted sex offender found hiding in secret compartment at home where woman was recently found dead

    CLEVELAND (TCN) -- A 43-year-old wanted sex offender was found hiding in a secret compartment in a home where a body had been found a week earlier.Matthew Hensley was discovered inside a secret compartment at a home on July 10 and arrested for failing to register his address, WOIO reports. He had been previously convicted of unwanted sexual contact with a minor and authorities had been looking for him for two months. WKYC reports Hensley had been a registered sex offender since 2003 after crimes against a 13-year-old.On July 3, missing mother Amber Graham, 37, was found dead and covered in a sheet outside the same home, WOIO reports. She and her daughter were from Tennessee, and according to an interview with a friend, she had traveled to the area to meet a man she had been talking to online.According to WOIO, the police report connected to Graham’s death lists Hensley as allegedly involved. However, WKYC reports Hensley has not been officially identified as a suspect in Graham’s death, nor have the two cases been linked formally.On July 1, Graham’s 8-year-old daughter walked into a fire station with a phone number for her grandmother in her pocket, WOIO reports. According to the outlet, Graham’s family reported her missing the following day.WKYC reports family and friends used social media to try to determine Graham’s location. When they found what they believed to the home, they called the police and requested a welfare check. Police found her body when they arrived on July 3.Graham’s cause of death has not been announced and no one has been arrested or charged in connection with her death, per WOIO.
