SAN ANGELO, Texas (TCN) -- A 31-year-old woman is in custody after police allege she shot, stabbed, and dismembered her live-in boyfriend before hiding some of his remains in a dumpster and attempting to encase the rest of them in concrete. On June 24, police received an anonymous Crime Stoppers tip, KLST reports. The anonymous tipster claimed they were told Audrey Troncoso shot, dismembered, and disposed of 34-year-old Roland Matthew Shepard in an apartment dumpster. An investigation led authorities to search the dumpster. The dumpster’s contents had been emptied into a trash truck that was en route to the landfill, KLST reports. The truck was stopped so police could search it. Officers recovered a trash bag full of clothes and a carpet covered with fresh blood, as well as a torso that had tattoos matching the description of those belonging to Shepard.A search warrant was executed at the residence Troncoso and Shepard shared, according to KMSP. More human remains were located in tubs of wet concrete in a vehicle in the home’s driveway, per KLST. Police arrested Troncoso at the scene and took her into custody, where she allegedly admitted during an interview that she shot Shepard in the face, stabbed him, and dismembered him with a saw and multiple knives. She also allegedly admitted she mixed concrete to hide additional body parts in totes. On June 25, Troncoso’s father, Mario Valdes Troncoso Jr., was arrested and charged with evidence tampering in connection with Shepard’s death, according to KTXS. Investigators believe he was involved in hiding and disposing of Shepard’s dismembered remains. Police have not released a motive in the homicide. Police told KMSP, “This is one of the most violent homicides in recent memory that we’ve investigated here.”Audrey Troncoso is behind bars on $2 million bond, according to KLST. GoSanAngelo reports that her father is behind bars on a $100,000 bond, according to court records obtained by the outlet. The investigation is ongoing. MORE: Handyman identified as person of interest after missing elderly woman’s remains found encased in concrete — True Crime NewsFla. woman allegedly shot boyfriend in his sleep, tried to dismember him before burying him in yard — True Crime News
