    Tenn. funeral home owner indicted on 52 counts connected with alleged fraud, mishandling of remains

    FENTRESS COUNTY, Tenn. (TCN) -- A 37-year-old funeral home owner has been arrested on a 52-count indictment following an investigation into his business practices and the alleged mishandling of human remains. 

    Chadrick “Chad” Mundy was arrested Sept. 23, WLVT reports. Mundy, owner of the Mundy Funeral Home in Jamestown, Tennessee, had had his operating license suspended by the State Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers in August after an investigation found he had allegedly filed false life insurance claims for people who were living, including his wife.
