PLYMOUTH, Mass. (TCN) -- A 56-year-old retired nurse has been taken into custody and charged after allegedly attempting to film jurors as they exited the courthouse during Lindsay Clancy’s trial.

Clancy, 36, is standing trial for three counts of first-degree murder in connection with the January 2023 strangulation deaths of her children, ages 5, 3, and 8 months. Though Clancy has admitted to killing her children, she claims she was suffering from postpartum psychosis at the time and is not criminally responsible. The trial has garnered worldwide attention, and many of Clancy’s supporters gather outside the Plymouth County courthouse each day, according to Court TV.
