THE VILLAGES, Fla. (TCN) -- A 78-year-old man allegedly damaged his surgeon’s car with a hammer when he grew angry that the doctor canceled the surgery because he drank water, going against preoperative instructions.

According to a probable cause affidavit obtained by Law & Crime, police responded to a medical building on Sept. 16 after receiving a call about a damaged Tesla. The victim, a surgeon at the practice, said his co-workers heard two loud bangs. The vehicle allegedly had two indentations on the windshield, or about $1,600 worth of damage, per the affidavit.
